What is an AI credit?: Forge's AI builds your app turn by turn. Each turn uses some AI, measured in credits: 1 credit is about $0.10 of AI. A small change costs a fraction of a credit, a big new feature a few. You see the cost of every reply.
What happens when I run out?: New build turns pause until your monthly credits reset on the 1st or you top up. Your apps keep running, and "Try to fix" on preview errors stays free.
What is a sandbox?: Your own free SmartLinks collection to build and test in, with generous caps on products, items and contacts. It's not for live customers yet; there's no custom domain and nothing is metered.
What does going live change?: Your project becomes a live collection on a paid plan: the sandbox caps go away, you can use your own domain, and your plan's monthly credits are added. You confirm the price on Stripe before paying, and can manage or cancel any time.
Do monthly credits roll over?: No: monthly credits reset each month. Credits you buy never expire and are used after your monthly ones.
